The heater comprises a radiator/convector (1) with a perforated cylindrical wall, closed at the top by a wall (2) having a central part which bulges inwards (3). Its lower part ends in a conical constriction (4) beneath which is fixed a support carrying a burner (6). It is topped by a cowl (10) with a diameter greater than that of the cylindrical radiator, and situated at a certain distance from the latter. <IMAGE>
