PURPOSE:To simplify circuit constitution of a device and eliminate a primary factor causing its error, by processing a control circuit function of a hot-wire air mass flow sensor through a microcomputer for engine control. CONSTITUTION:An A/D converting means B, which converts an output signal from a hot-wire air mass flow sensor A into a digital value, and a control means D, which controls a rate of electrifying time of a power supply C applied to the sensor A, are provided. A feedback correcting means E applied feedback correction to the rate of electrifying time in accordance with the output signal from the sensor A. An air mass flow arithmetic means F detects a mass flow of air sucked to an engine from the rate of electrifying time. Then a control circuit function of the hot-wire air mass flow sensor A is processed by a microcomputer for engine control, causing circuit constitution of a device to be simplified further eliminating a main cause of its error thus enabling its accuracy to be improved. |
