PURPOSE:To lubricate the sliding section without lowering the efficiency of compressor by making a groove to be blocked continuously from the vane back space and from a compression chamber formed with the outercircumferential face of rotor and the inner wall of cylinder in a sideboard. CONSTITUTION:A groove 19 made in the rear sideboard is continuously blocked from the vane back space 18, groove 17 and compression chamber 8. Lubricant fed to the vane back space 18 will pass through a gap between a rotor 4 and rear sideboard 3 into the compression chamber 8 where a portion is stored in the groove 19 to lubticate the side face of rotor 4. Since the groove 19 is blocked continuously from the groove 17, vane back space 18 and compression chamber 8, the amount of lubricant flowing into the compression chamber will never increase. Consequently, the sliding section between the sideface of rotor 4 and the rear sideboard 3 can be lubricated without sacrifice of the compressor efficiency.
