PURPOSE:To suppress the generation of higher harmonics by using a differential amplifier circuit which has collectors connected together by capacitors as an amplitude limiting circuit. CONSTITUTION:The differential amplifier circuit consists of NPN transistors (TR)1 and 2, a load resistance 3, a resistance 4 which determines a bias current, etc. The resistances 9 and 3 and capacitor 10 constitute an LPF AC-wise, and outputs of the TRs 1 and 2 are opposite in phase. When the cut-off frequency of the LPF is set to a proper frequency, higher harmonic components at the collectors of the TRs 1 and 2 are reduced.
