PURPOSE:To make a file memory for the intial program loading (IPL) of a subprocessor unnecessary and to set up the IPL with simple constitution by executing the IPL from a file memory device of a main processor through a channel coupling adaptor. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic tape device MT and a file memory device FM are incorporated in a multiplexed main processor MPU and connected to common buses BUS0, BUS1 together with a channel device CHC connected to a main memory device MM. A main memory device MM, a channel device CHC and a channel coupling adaptor CCA are incorporated in each of plural multiplexed subprocessors SPU0-SPUn. The buses BUS0, BUS1 in the processor MPU are connected to these adaptors CCAs. Initial program loading (IPL) is executed by the device FM in the processor MPU through the adaptors CCAs, so that the IPL is set up with simple constitution. |
