PURPOSE:To prepare a blood specimen in an applied state regardless of change in viscosity of the blood, by correcting the moving speed of a wedge in correspondence with the diffusing time of the blood up to a specified distance in the perpendicular direction with respect to the moving direction of the wedge. CONSTITUTION:A wedge 2 is moved back and force on a slide glass 1. When the tip of the wedge reaches a line C-C', on which blood is dropped, a motor 3 is stopped, and the blood begins to diffuse. The blood finally reaches points P1 and P2. When the motor 3 is stopped, a diffusing-time measuring circuit 10 begins the measurement simultaneously. The time period up to the time when the diffusion of the blood reaches P1 and P2 is added, and a signal X3 is supplied to a motor-speed computing circuit 11. A speed correcting signal is formed in the circuit 11 and sent to a motor control circuit 12. The motor control circuit 12 drives the motor 3. Thus, the moving speed of the wedge corresponding to the viscosity of the blood is corrected, and the stable blood sample can be prepared. |
