PURPOSE:To obtain an easy-to-handle disk player by unlocking and opening a lid according to inserting operation when a disk is loaded, and closing and locking the lid according to ejecting operation. CONSTITUTION:A lid opening and closing device 5 is provided at the rear surface side of an insertion slot frame body 2, and this device 5 consists of the opening-closing lid 6, a lock mechanism 7 which performs lock control over the opening and closing of the opening-closing lid 6, and an opening-closing control mechanism. This opening-closing lid 6 has the upper edge side supported turnably on a shaft 6' held laterally over the rear part of the insertion slot frame body 3, and a lock mechanism 7 consisting of relative members and the opening- closing mechanism are installed at the lower edge side of the opening-closing lid 6.
