PURPOSE:To position and load a disk accurately without any play by coupling the disk with a rotating shaft by a pressure member as a disk pack chamber lid is closed, and releasing the pressure application of the pressure member associatively with a lock member. CONSTITUTION:A lock lever 35 is locked by a locking lever 41 while a rear cover 7 is open; and a disk pad is inserted in this state until specified in a holder 27 with a specifying pin 46, and then the rear cover 7 is pressed to rotate clockwise and is closed. The pressure member 29 presses the center core of the disk according to the rotation and the rotating shaft 16 of a motor M enters the center hole of the center core. The front end part 7b of the rear cover 7 moves back the lock lever 35 right before the closing operation of the rear cover 7 is completed and then presses the locking lever 41, so the lock lever 35 moves toward a storage chamber by this unlocking operation to lock the rear cover 7 and the pressure member 29 leaves the center core to allow the disk to rotate freely.
