PURPOSE:To rotate a roller type record cleaning part along the modulated groove of a record disk and clean up dust on the disk without fail by shaping the roller type record cleaning part in a frustum of circular cone. CONSTITUTION:While the tip part 6a of the holding part 6 of the roller type record cleaning part is held, the cleaning part 4 is placed on the disk surface of the record disk 7 in contact and the cleaning part 4 is rotated along the modulated groove of the record disk from which a music signal is reproduced. Then, the moving direction of the cleaning part 4 is tangent to the record disk 7 since the cleaning part 4 is in the shape of the frustum of circular cone and has specific size relation, so that the cleaning part advances while rotating without any disorder on the disk surface of the record disk 7. Thus, the dust on the surface of the record disk 7 is cleaned up without fail.
