PURPOSE:To observe a sectional image in a really observed state by obtaining an expanded reconstitutional image of a converned area from scanned data and applying curved plane/section convertion processing to the reconstitutional image. CONSTITUTION:A mountding board 51 is stopped at a required rotational angle, and while radiating X rays intermittently from A-ray source 52, detected outputs obtained from a detector 53 are collected by a data collecting part 54 to obtain a scanned image. A computer 8 expands and reconstitutes the sectional image of the collected data at a required area on the basis of a set-up center position and a set expanded area. Consequently, a reconstituted image expanded around the previously set center position is obtained. The obtained picture is regarded as if a CT picture obtained by normal scanning, the expanding direction of the section is fixed and the section convertion processing is executed for the plane. Then, the computer 58 controls the display of the sectional image. Consequently, a sectional image obtained by the curved plane/section convertion processing is displayed on a CRT display 59. |
