PURPOSE:To easily join the reinforcing bars of footing by a method in which a cap is fixed to the tops of each vertical reinforcing bar of a reinforcing bar cage, concrete is placed, extra-banking portion is removed, the cap is removed out, and the reinforcing bars of the footing are joined by gas welding. CONSTITUTION:The top end face of each vertical bar 1 of a reinforcing bar cage 3 is smoothened, and a bottomed cylindrical cap 4 with a rubber packing 5 is fitted on and fixed to the tops of the bars 1. The cage 3 is hung down and penetrated into an excavated pit 7 for piling by turning its capped side upwards, and concrete 8 is placed up to the height of an extra-banking portion 11. After curing the concrete 8, the extra-banking portion 11 is removed out to expose the caps 4, the cap 4 is removed out, and reinforcing bars with an U-shaped hook 12A on the tops for footing are joined by gas welding to the tops of the vertical bars 1. Concrete is then placed to the footing 10 portion. |
