Tumbler for preparing infused (brewed) drinks, in particular filter coffee, of the type which comprises a lower compartment, intended to receive a metered quantity of the constituent of the drink, in particular a metered quantity of coffee, the drink desired being obtained by adding water to the tumbler, characterised in that the said lower compartment 10 receives a metered quantity 16 of the said constituent, in particular a metered quantity of ground roasted coffee and in that it is covered by a grid forming a filter 18, this grid being provided with a tube 20, extending downwards through the said lower compartment in order to enable hot water under pressure to be introduced into the said compartment, in order to make the desired infusion (brew), in particular coffee, the infused (brewed) drink rising back up into the upper part of the tumbler through the said grid. <IMAGE>
