<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a crease even if a recording paper whose front end is curled is introduced, by applying a bias voltage to a guide member provided near a fixing nip part to introduce the recording paper to a roll fuser part while attracting the front end of the recording paper. CONSTITUTION:A bias voltage is applied from a power source 14 to a lower guide plate 7 provided near a pressure roll 10, and an upper guide plate 8 is grounded, and then, the electric field going from the plate 7 toward the plate 8 is generated to generate a force which attracts the recording paper downward. Since a sent recording paper 1 is attracted to the guide plate 7, the front end is straightened even if it is curled, and the recording paper is introduced to a roll fuser part 11 between a heat roll 9 and the pressure roll 10, and the center part and corner parts of the front end of the paper 1 are taken into a fixing nip area 2 simultaneously. Consequently, the generation of a crease is prevented even if the recording paper whose front end is curled is introduced.</p> |
