PURPOSE:To rapidly and easily form a simulated natural pattern being almost the same as the pattern of a natural material on the surface of a workpiece by forming a flexible metallic sheet on the surface of which a natural pattern similar to the pattern of the natural material is formed, sticking the sheet to an electrode base-substance. CONSTITUTION:An existing material 7 like leather is stuck on a flat plate 8, a transfer body 9 composed of a silicone rubber is brought into contact with its surface, a natural pattern is reversely transferred, the transfer body is then removed from the flat plate 8, and its printed surface is metal-plated. And when the plated film is removed from the transfer body 9, a flexible metal sheet 4 with a natural pattern is obtained. Next, the electrode base-substance 2 made of epoxy resin is previously formed in accordance with a cavity, etc. of a metallic mould, the sheet 4 is cut off in accordance with the base-substance 2 in a specified size, and an electric discharge surface is formed by applying an adhesive layer 5 to the sheet 4. A conducting wire 6 is welded to the sheet 4 and inserted into a insertion hole 10 of the base-substance 2. |
