A packaging for cycles, made of corrugated cardboard, card or the like, consists of a single blank (1) which has an approximately rectangular outline, can be folded along its longitudinal mid-axis (4), and is provided with through-openings (10, 11) for the handlebars and saddle and with flaps formed by first cuts (12) made substantially in the longitudinal mid-axis (4). In the region of its longitudinal mid-axis (4), the blank has, in symmetrical arrangement, two folding lines (18, 19) which diverge from one another at an acute angle (20) towards the rear end of the packaging or the cycle and by means of which a central part (22) and two adjoining side walls (15, 16) are defined and fixed. Provided at the front end (13) of the package are a folding line section (17) arranged in the longitudinal mid-axis (4) or an incision for the direct fixing of the adjoining regions of the side walls (15, 16) to one another, and provided at the rear end (21) of the side walls (15, 16) are closure flaps (8, 9) or a folding wall linked to the side walls (15, 16), such that the packaging surrounding the cycle assumes a triangular cross-section. <IMAGE>
