PURPOSE:To enable change of guide position and length by providing a processing electrode made by a tape electrode and a multiaxial direction relative process feeding device controlled by program for a body to be processed, in an electric discharge machining device using a table electrode. CONSTITUTION:A tape electrode 4 drawn out from a reel 5 is guided to a predetermined shape by guides 1-3 and discharged into a gap opposite to a body to be processed 12 and processes. In this processing, numerical control signal of a NC control device 18 is given to X, Y axes drive motors 14, 15 and Z axial direction drive motor 16 of a processing table, and relative control feeding is given between the electrode and the body to be processed 12. A rotary motor 17 is controlled to turn the electrode around the Z axis. Motors 10, 11 are controlled to control the length of the guides 1-3. By this construction, position and length of the guides can desirably be changed. |
