PURPOSE:To improve the performance of stereophonic sound and locarization for plural passengers by compensating right/left unbalance of a stereophonic reproducing sound produced due to difference of the seated position of the passengers and reproducing right/left channel mixing signals so as to correct the displacement of the sound image. CONSTITUTION:In case of stereo reproduction while passengers take seat on a driver's seat 5a, an assistant driver's seat 5b and rear seats 6 respectively, the sound of each channel is reproduced from right/left front speakers 2a, 2b and right/left rear speakers 4a, 4b by the same sound volume and the mixed sound of right/left channels is reproduced from correcting speakers 8, 9 at the same time. Then the left channel reproducing sound is compensated to a clue M1 taking a seat on the driver's seat 5b so as to attain strereophonic reproducing sound and also the sound image to the clue M1 is set at a midpoint between the correction speaker 8 and the right front speaker 2b, then more natural reproducing sound having both stereophonic feeling and localizing feeling is attained.
