摘要 PURPOSE:To perform quantitative determination with high accuracy by providing a thermostatic means which maintains the temp. of a carrier liquid, reference liquid and electrodes at a prescribed temp. CONSTITUTION:A meter for quantitative determination of blood component is constituted of a tank 2 for contg. a carrier liquid 1, a metering pump 3, an injector 4, a liquid flow bumper 5, a sensor part 6, a waste liquid tank 7, a flow passage 8 and a Peltier effect element attached in the state of contacting with the base of the sensor part 6. The Peltier effect element is operated in the stage of measurement to maintain the carrier liquid, the reference liquid and the electrodes in the sensor part at the prescribed temp. of about, for example, 30 deg.C. The quantitative determination of glucose with the above-mentioned device is accomplished by passing first the carrier liquid through the device, then injecting 100% glucose liquid which is the reference liquid therein from an injector 21, calibrating the sensitivity of an immobilized enzyme electrode 9, then injecting a soln. of 100% disturbing material and calibrating the sensitivity of an electrode 10 for detecting the disturbing material. A sample soln. is fed into the device upon completion of such calibration and the outputs from the electrodes 9, 10 are calculated, by which the concn. of the glucose is quantitatively determined.
