PURPOSE:To improve a leveler performance by constituting a titled leveler so that a diameter of a roll of the utmost end part of a tilting rolling reduction type roller leveler becomes larger than other roll by specified %. CONSTITUTION:A diameter of the utmost end part rolls A, B of a roll train is made larger by 0.1-3.5% than that of other rolls C, D. Accordingly, even if a plate is made to pass through from a direction of A or B, a circumferential speed of the first rolls A, B of the entry always becomes larger than a circumferential speed of the second rolls C, D, and a speed difference caused by a curvature difference of the first and the second rolls of the entry can be corrected. A roll torque also becomes a torque for driving the plate from the roll by the first - the third rolls, etc. of the entry, and its size also becomes smaller than the case of a diameter of the comventional same roll. The leveler performance is improved by this mechanism. |
