To set a synthetic-resin adhesive anchor, the anchor bar (1) of which is provided with a partial thread which is formed from ribs and whose end faces form stop surfaces, a sleeve (6) is used which at one end face has a receptacle (8) adapted to the outline of the anchor nut (2) and which at the other end face is provided with means (10) for transmitting a torque. Abutment surfaces interacting with the bearing surfaces of the anchor bar are provided in the interior of the sleeve (6). The abutment surfaces are formed, for example, on the inner wall of a bush (11) which encloses the end of the anchor bar (1) and is mounted on a coaxially arranged torsion bar (14) held on the sleeve (6). The bearing surfaces of the anchor bar are thereby supported relative to the sleeve in such a way that a rotary movement between the anchor bar and the anchor nut is prevented until a certain torque is reached. After the hardening of the adhesive, the turning resistance becomes so great that the sleeve (6) can rotate relative to the anchor bar (1), the anchor nut can be tightened and the anchor bar can be tensioned. <IMAGE> |
