PURPOSE:To eliminate streaky flaws and gloss unevenness generating in a rolled product by dividing a backup roll into plural ones and applying the forced lubrication of high viscosity lubrication oil of another system to biting parts between the backup rolls and intermediate rolls. CONSTITUTION:A multi-cluster mill is formed by disposing a pair of work rolls 2, 2a, upper and lower intermediate rolls, two-in-a-set each, 31, 32, 31a, 32a, and plural backup rolls 41, 5, 42, 41a, 5a, 42a for supporting the intermediate rolls. Lubricating pipe 10a-10d are arranged at the biting parts between backup rolls 41, 42, 41a, 42a and the intermediate rolls 31, 32, 31a, 32a in conformity with the rotating direction of them. A high-viscosity rolling lubrication-oil is forcibly supplied from the pipes 10a-10d of anothers system separately from the system of normal rolling lubrication-oil. In this way, the sheet surface is prevented from generating streaky gloss unevenness due to the divided backup rolls. |
