PURPOSE:To eliminate variance in spring pressure and to obtain a brake mechanism having high reliability by providing a spring part to a pawl body by monolithic molding. CONSTITUTION:A pawl part 16 to be detained with the ratchet part 13 of reels 2, 3 is provided by monolithic molding to the top end of a pawl body 15 consisting of a synthetic resin such as polyacetal and a spring part 17 is provided by monolithic molding to the rear end so as to expand into a V shape from the body 15. The top end of the part 17 contacts with the rising wall 11 of a case 1 and supports elastically the body 15. The spring part 17 is provided together with the body 15 by monolithic molding of a material such as polyacetal having a spring property and creep resistance in this invention. The variance in the spring pressure is decreased and the quality is remarkably improved. The assembling operation is made easier by the decreased number of parts.
