PURPOSE:To hold airtightness of a cyclone filter to keep the separating effect of a toner for a long time by providing a bearing, which has the same diameter as the outside diameter of a rotary valve body, on its side plate and supporting a revolving shaft of the valve body with this bearing. CONSTITUTION:Both ends of a valve revolving shaft 10c of a rotary valve 10 provided under a cyclon filter 9 into which an untransferred toner is carried are supported by side plates 10d through a bearing 11 whose diameter is approximately equal to the diameter of a valve body 10b. A part of the bearing 11 is covered with seal partitioning walls 10e projected from both side plates, and front ends of partitioning walls 10e are brought into contact with the outside circumferential face of the body 10b, and therefore, the valve body 10b is not slided directly on side plates 10d. Consequently, end faces of side plates 10d and the valve body 10b are not worn even if they are used for a long time, and airtightness of the filter 9 is held to prevent surely an unusable minute toner or the like from being leaked to a developing device. |
