In the case of an edge guard aligning angle which can be used as a corner reinforcement for the layer of filling material to be applied to the heat-insulating layer of a building with full heat protection jacket, a glass-fibre reinforcement cloth strip and a further glass fibre cloth strip as corner strengthening are bonded to each other by a layer of casting resin in such a way that the glass fibre strips bear directly against each other and the maximum thickness of the layer of plastic is equal to the effective thickness of the two glass fibre cloth strips in the region where they overlap. The edge guard aligning angle is bent into its angled profile shape before the layer of casting resin is finally completely cured. Openings which are provided in the corner region of the edge guard aligning angle and through which the filling adhesive can pass are punched out before the edge guard aligning angle is bent into its profile shape. The weft threads of the reinforcing cloth strip and of the further glass fibre cloth strip, serving as strengthening, preferably run in a rectilinearly stretched manner in the longitudinal direction of the edge guard aligning angle. |
