PURPOSE:To suppress a noise level to a level at which the noise is not offensive to the ear in an ordinary conversation by clipping a speech level. CONSTITUTION:The speech level is held by a speech level holding part 1, and a function generation part 4 clips the speech level to generate a noise corresponding to the level of an input to a noise generation part 2, thereby sending the noise to a switch part 3. The switch part 3 inserts this noise. Thus, even when the speech level identified as a soundless level is high, the noise level is not offensive to the ear in an ordinary conversation to hear a sound having the nonoffensive noise. |
