PURPOSE:To solve a problem of a troublesome treatment of a hose for ventilation and eliminate wasteful consumption of air by supplying the air from a vent hole adjusted to a sliding position of a work supporting bench and thereby forming an air film between the base and the work supporting bench. CONSTITUTION:A proper number of vent holes 7, 7a, 7b, 7c is provided and spaced in the upper surface and the side surface of a base 1 upon sliding of a work supporting bench 2 such that at least one of said vent holes is located at the work supporting bench 2. The above-described vent holes are communicated with an air supplying source via holes 8, 8a, 8b, 8c in the base 1 and pipes 10, 10a, 10b, 10c and through solenoid valves 11, 11a, 11b, 11c. The sliding of the work supporting bench 2 is detected by a proximity sensor 13 provided adjoining the vent holes 7, 7a, 7b, 7c in the base 1, and thereby the solenoid valve corresponding to the vent hole adjoining the sensor 13 is opened, thus allowing only the vent hole at which the work supporting bench 2 is located to be supplied with compressed air. |
