The invention relates to a running line for rubber-tyred wheeled vehicles with flangeless lateral guidance. Such running lines have, at the side of the running surface, vertical guide surfaces, on which the steering information is picked up, but which must also be dimensioned in such a manner that they prevent the vehicle swerving out of the track. The guide surfaces must be arranged with a very high degree of accuracy if comfortable running is to be guaranteed and, on the other hand, they must be able to absorb very high horizontal loads in extreme situations. The accuracy and high loadability requirements can be satisfied economically with the running line according to the invention, in which running surface and guide surface are laid in one piece as a prefabricated concrete part with interposition of a grouting mortar on a firm support layer.
