PURPOSE:To obtain a small-sized, lightweight coaxial resonator with excellent response at about 5,000MHz over the VHF band and UHF band by connecting a dielectric line with a cavity resonator. CONSTITUTION:The open terminal part 1a of an external conductor 1 is larger in diameter. Then, a metallized external conductor 4 is provided around the outer circumferential surface of a dielectric 3, and a metallized center conductor 5 is provided over the inner circumferential surface of the dielectric 3. Then, the center conductor 2 of this resonator is arranged on the center axis. Thus, the coaxial resonator have the features of both the cavity resonator and a dielectric charged type resonator and their advantages are exhibited. Further, the cavity part and dielectric are different in line impedance, so the response characteristics in the high order mode of resonance frequencies are improved and the spurious response is excellent when this is used for the output of a transmitter. |
