<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the manufacture of an endless belt having a definite perimeter and without wrinkles by fixing one end of a sheet and stretching said sheet being set around and along a pair or rollers, which are fixed after moved to size, and lapping the other end over said end and joining them. CONSTITUTION:When joining a photosensitive body sheet 21, which constitutes a photosensitive body of an endless belt, first, a photosensitive body sheet 2' which was cut to size, is bent upward from under a pair of rollers 1, 2, along the rollers, and one end is brought in contact with a stopper 15 and positioned, and is fixed on a rest 8 with a second clamp 18. Then, the other end is fixed on a slide board 19 with a first clamp 14. By pulling an operating member 9 toward you in this condition, the slide board 10 is moved rightward along a cam-shaped notch 11 by the force of a spring 13, to stretch the sheet 21. And, the stopper 15 is lowered and sunk below the surface of the rest 8 along an inclined groove 16, and the both end parts of the sheet are lapped over each other. This lapped part is solvently welded, to obtain a product.</p> |
