PURPOSE:To remove acceleration slip at any speed of driving wheels by controlling engine power through detecting a degree of acceleration by means of signals from a car speed sensor so as to restrain the acceleration slip according to acceleration of the driving wheels. CONSTITUTION:Wheel speed Vn of driving wheels is computed at the step 101 according to signals from a car speed sensor 21. Wheel acceleration alphan of the driving wheels is computed from the wheel speed Vn and previously computed wheel speed Vn-1, plus its lapse of time at the step 102. An average acceleration of the wheel acceleration alphan within fixed time is computed at the step 103, and the amount of acceleration changes beta is computed from the wheel acceleration alphan, the average acceleration and the constant at the step 104. Engine control is made on the basis of the amount of the acceleration changes beta at the succeeding step 105. Thus, engine control becomes possible only by detecting a degree of acceleration from the wheel speed of the driving wheel without providing a plurality of sensors. |
