PURPOSE:To simplify the adjustment of the backlash quantity by adjusting a valve unit so as to be switched to a pressure difference solving position then inserting a spacer in response to the decrease length of the aimed backlash between a brake pedal and a pedal return position limiter. CONSTITUTION:After adjusting the valve unit of a negative-pressure type magnifier so as to be switched to a pressure difference solving position, a spacer 56 with a thickness in response to the decrease length of the aimed backlash is inserted into a plate 54 welded to a brake pedal 51. As a result of using this spacer 56, the return position of the pedal 51 is set to a position somewhat swayed in the depression direction from the conventional return position, and the input shaft of a magnifier is somewhat advanced corresponding to it. Accordingly, the valve position of the booster is located at the pressure difference hold position. |
