PURPOSE:To record with high quality while preventing air bubbles from penetrating into an ink-jetting nozzle, by driving a recording head in accordance with recording information so that a lowering curve of a driving voltage reaches the next driving timing when a driving frequency for a piezoelectric element is high. CONSTITUTION:In recording dots by impressing a driving pulse according to recording information on the piezoelectric element 3 through lead wires L1, L2 to jet an ink 6 from a nozzle part 2 in the form of liquid droplets, when the driving frequency for the element 3 continues to be high, a driving pulse (a) is impressed on the element 3 to drive the latter while ensuring that the lowering curve (b) of the preceding driving voltage reaches the subsequent driving timing.
