PURPOSE:To obtain the titled film good in adhesion of an ultraviolet ray-curable ink in good efficiency without detriment to mechanical strength, by placing a metallized layer on the surface of a lowly surface-roughened milled polyester film and coating the metallized layer or the unmetallized layer with a specified surface-roughening substance. CONSTITUTION:A metallized layer is placed on the surface of a surface-roughened milled polyester film of a glossiness <=110. The titled highly surface-roughened film of a glossiness <=60 is obtained by coating the metallized surface or the unmetallized surface with 2-6g/m<2> (in terms of solid matter) of a composition comprising 30-70wt% saturated copolyester component having a softening point >=150 deg.C and a glass transition point >=45 deg.C, 70-30wt% saturated copolyester component having a softening point <=130 deg.C and a glass transition point <=10 deg.C, and 10-40pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. mixture of these copolyesters, inorganic particle component. By placing the above metallized layer, the appearance of the film bocomes excellent because of its change in hiding power and brightness upon visual observation, so that the film is particularly suited for labeling sheets. |
