<p>PURPOSE:To provide a heat generating compsn. which has uniform temperature distribution and thickness all over the whole body and high elasticity and is excellent in flexibility, consisting of steel wool, activated carbon, an oxidation accelerator and water. CONSTITUTION:A raw material mixture consisting of 2-80pts.wt. activated carbon, 0.2-30pts.wt. oxidation accelerator such as NaCl, 2-90pts.wt. water and optionally a water-retaining agent such as woodmeal and a binder such as dextrin is deposited on 100pts.wt. steel wool having a diameter of 7-30mu and a bulk density of 0.02-2.5w/cm<3> to obtain a heat generating compsn., which is then charged in an air-permeable bag.</p> |
