PURPOSE:To mix thoroughly hot air and air and to eliminate the need for a mixing chamber with an outside combustion type hot stove by supplying the air to be mixed with the hot air from the lower part of a combustion chamber in the stage of supplying the hot air to the blast furnace side. CONSTITUTION:The waste combustion gas in a combustion chamber 1 is introduced from the chamber 1 into a checker work 2 and after the regenerative bricks in a regenerating part 14 are heated, the gas is discharged through a feed and discharge pipe 6. If the combustion in the chamber 1 is stopped air is blasted through the pipe 6 into the work 2, after the regeneration is thoroughly accomplished, the hot air is formed in the work 2 and is admitted into the chamber 1. Adequate air is supplied through an air pipe 16 for regulating temp. to the lower part of the chamber 1 and is mixed with the hot air in the chamber 1 to regulate the temp. of the hot air and thereafter the hot air is supplied through a hot air main 9 to the blast furnace side such as a steel melting furnace or the like. Since the air for regulating temp. is supplied from a burner part 5 to the chamber 1, the air ascends approximately uniformly in the chamber 1 and is thus mixed with the hot air.
