PURPOSE:To remove easily and cleanly a powder developer on a magnetic roll by pressing the lower face of a vessel whose magnetic flux density is high, against the powder developer on the magnetic roll, raising it and inclining it by 90 deg.. CONSTITUTION:In a space 2 in a vessel 1, a permanent magnet 3 is stuck to a magnet holding device 10 supported so as to be freely oscillatable with regard to a supporting point 9. The magnet 3 is in a suspended state with regard to the supporting point 9 by its empty weight. The part of a lower face 1' of the vessel of the lower part of the magnet 3 has a high magnetic flux density, and when it is pressed against a powder developer 7 on a magnetic roll 6, and thereafter, raised upward, a developer 7' is attracted to the lower face 1'. When the vessel 1 is shifted horizontally with the lower face 1' set down, and inclined by 90 deg. as indicated with an arrow C on paper 8, the magnet 3 holds a vertical state, and the developer 7' on the face 1' drops onto the paper 8.
