PURPOSE:To enable the assembling and disassembling of the titled detector assembly rapidly with high accuracy while providing heat resistance and earthquake resistance to said assembly, by fixing a large number of radiation detectors in a rigid structure consisting of metal plates, metal rods, pipes and an outer box. CONSTITUTION:Metal rods 5, 6 are fixed to the end part of a metal plate 10 and pipes 31, 36 are inlaid with said metal rods 5, 6. A metal plate 12 is arranged to the opposite side of the metal plate 10 through said pipes 31, 36. Thereafter, pipes 32-40 and metal plates 13, 14 are successively assembled. The metal plate 11 is fixed to metal rods 5, 6 so as to generate tensile stress to the metal rods 5, 6 and compression stress to the pipes 31-40. Furthermore, when the outer diameter of each metal rod is set to R1, the inner diameter of each pipe to R2, the outer diameter thereof to R+ and the diameter of the hole or the groove width of the metal plate R, R1<R4<R3 is pref. formed and R2-R1 is pref. about 0.2-2mm.. Radiation detectors 41-45 are strongly fixed to the metal plates 10- 14. Therefore, by detaching only one metal plate in the single side and the metal rods, the assembling and disassembling of the radiation detectors can be performed rapidly. |
