PURPOSE:To enhance the withstand voltage, efficiency and frequency of a power source by insulating between an input and an output of a control system via a transformer. CONSTITUTION:After an AC input applied between input terminals 2A and 2B passes a filter 6, it is rectified by a rectifier 8, smoothed by a capacitor 10, applied to the primary coil 14P of a transformer 14, and the induced voltage is induced at the secondary coil 14S1. This induced voltage is fed back to the base of a transistor 12. The transistor 12 oscillates to operate switching. The pulse output induced at the secondary coil 14S2 by the switching of the transistor 12 is rectified by a diode 28, smoothed, and produced as a DC output from output terminals 36A, 36B. This DC output is compared by a comparator 42 with a reference voltage, the output is combined with a triangular voltage from a waveform shaper 50, and applied to a drive controller 60 through a transistor 51 and a transformer 48. |
