PREPARATION OF INTEGRALLY BLOW-MOLDED PIECE

PURPOSE:To prepare voidfree pad material by a method wherein resin flow in a blow mold is adjusted by a U type baffle plate and the corner sides of a mold cover member. CONSTITUTION:The U type baffle plate 5 is inserted previously into the cover member. Foam material is injected gradually into the cover member 1 and expanded. Then, the flow of the foam material 8 is moved forcedly by the U type baffle plate 5 toward the corner part 3a of the rise part. Stagnant expanded gas is extruded by the forced adjustment not to produce voids 4'. In this manner, the pad material 4 free from defects such as voids etc. can be provided.
