PURPOSE:The titled apparatus, having a mode selector for changing over the liquid supply and discharge on the inlet and outlet of one of plural reactors and flow dividers for changing over the reactors in channels between reagent bottles and solvent bottles, and the reactors, and capable of discontinuing and continuing and reaction separately in the respective reactors. CONSTITUTION:An apparatus body having plural reactors 11, reagent bottles and solvent bottles 3-8 filled with reagents and solvents, etc. necessary for the synthetic reaction of polynucleotide, and changing over means 9 and 10 for changing over channels (20a)-(20c) connecting the bottles to the reactors 11. The plural reactors 11 are provided, and mode selectors 14 and 15 for changing over the liquid supply and discharge operation are equipped on the inlet and outlet (11a) and (11b) of one of the reactors 11. Flow dividers 12 and 13 for changing over the reactors 11 by opening and closing the channels are provided in the channels (20a)-(20c), and the reagents, solvents, etc. are supplied to the reactors 11 one after another from the respective reagent bottles and solvent bottles 3-8 to the reactors 11 to synthesize the aimed polynucleotide.
