<p>PURPOSE:To improve the durability of the fixing roll used for static photograph, etc. by making the coating layer of the roll, using crosslinked methyl vinyl family silicone raw rubber with which silica is compounded. CONSTITUTION:The rubber compound is which 30-60pts.wt. silica is added to the methyl vinyl family silicone raw rubber shown in the formula, is crosslinked more than 6X10<-4>mol/cc crosslinking density, whereby silicone rubber coating layer may be formed on a core metal, and thus, the fixing roller for static photograph process is obtained. The crosslinking density is regulated by changing the ratio of (m) to (n) in the formula and the silica compounding amount. The mold-releasing silicone oil used for preventing toner off set makes the fixing roll inferior, but it is avoided by its specified composition and crosslinking grade. The copy durability is more than 30-40 ten thousand sheets.</p> |
