PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for complicated copying operation and to synthesize efficiently an original image and a stored image by inputting control information for a copying machine and a form image signal to one storage part. CONSTITUTION:Desired copy information on an original is read by a CCD2 and sent to a processing circuit 4 through an amplifier 3, compared with a specific value, and outputted as a binary-coded image signal MV. On the other hand, pieces of information on an index and a form crresponding to the original image read by the CCD2 are compressed and stored in ROM5, transferred to RAM8 by a control part 10, and outputted as an image signal RV which is expanded by an expand processing part 6. Then, the signals RV and MV are ORed by an OR gate 7 to supply an image signal CV to a printer, etc.
