ULTRASONIC TRANSDUCER ARRAY

摘要

PURPOSE:To produce high sound pressure with a small number of ultrasonic vibrators and also to obtain the sharper directivity, by arraying horns containing ultrasonic vibrators so that these horns form a forcal point in the radiating direction. CONSTITUTION:Each horn 4 contains a ultrasonic vibrators 3. Then these horns 4 are arrayed so that the center axis of each horn 4 forms a focal point in the radiating direction and that the sound wave radiation centers of vibrators 3 form a spherical part. With formation of such an array, the sound pressure of a high level can be produced with a small number of ultrasoni vibrators. Furthermore a directional angle chracteristic is narrowed and the sharper directivity can be obtained.
