PURPOSE:To prepare voidfree pad material by a method wherein resin flow in a blow mold is adjusted by a baffle plate and the corner sides of a mold cover member of the mold to prevent the resin from stagnating. CONSTITUTION:The baffle plate 5 is inserted previously into the cover member 1. Foam material is injected gradually into the cover member 1 and expanded. The flow of the foam material is moved forcibly by the baffle plate 5 toward the corner part 3a of the rise part 3. Stagnant expanded gas is extruded by this forced adjustment in order not to produce voids 4'. In this manner, the pad 4 free from defects such as voids etc. can be provided.
