PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of color mixing in a high temp. color forming image, by providing a high temp. color forming layer and a low temp. color forming layer to a support and interposing an intermediate layer containing a capsule compound substance of a sulfone derivative between those different color forming layers. CONSTITUTION:A high temp. color forming solution containing a leuco dye and a coupler is applied to a support to form a high temp. color forming layer and a coating solution containing one or more of a capsule compound selected from a sulfonic acid derivative, a phosphoric acid derivative, a paraffin, derivative, a glycerine derivative and an epoxy derivative, all of which are encapsulated, is applied to said color forming layer to form an intermediate layer (a color erasing layer). Subsequently, a low temp. color forming solution containing a leuco dye and a coupler is applied to the intermediate layer to form a low temp. color forming layer. By this method, a two-color thermal recording material is obtained. |
