PURPOSE:To improve screw fitting adhesive property by coating the screw made of FRP with crosslinked nylon resin. CONSTITUTION:The screw part of a bolt and nut molded from FRP which is made of glass fiber resin forced epoxy resin is coated with the alcohol solution of nylon resin (methoxymethylated polyamide) with which citric acid is compounded as a crosslinking agent, and is dried and then crosslinked under heating, whereby a nylon coated layer is formed. The screw part becomes smooth and the screw fitting accuracy similar the first grade screw may be obtained. It is useful as the screw members for the chemical device or electrical device requiring corrosion resistance and electrical insulating property. |
