PURPOSE:To perform rough cutting without any costly special cutter, which has been inevitable according to conventional arrangement, by pressing an endless rotary saw to the work and cutting off the portion, to be cut in this rough cutting stage, in a triangular form. CONSTITUTION:If, for example, rough cutting is applied to a gear material, a reciprocative table 2 is driven by a table driving device 4 installed at one side of the bed 1. Work supports 5, 6 are mounted on the uppersurface of this table 2, and a work A is set freely detachably between these supports 5, 6. In an adjusting mechanism 9 near the table 2, a supporting member 12 is mounted freely rotatably, with a shaft approx. level with a mechanism supporter part 10 projecting at the rear face of the bed 1 as its center, and a receptacle table 14 is furnished, in such a way as capable of revolving round its own axis, with a shaft 13 perpendicular to the supporting member 12 as its center. The cutter head 19 mounts an endless saw element 23 to the head body 20. Thus rough cutting can be obtained with very low cost. |
