PURPOSE:To reduce a speed change gear to a compact size by providing a clutch for transmitting rotation of a prime mover shaft, which comprises a clutch drum and a clutch hub which is mounted on either of a pinion carrier and a ring gear of a planetry gear device. CONSTITUTION:A clutch 2 for transmitting rotation of a prime mover shaft comprises a clutch drum 21 disposed adjacent to a planetry gear device 3 for changing over forward and backward motion and a clutch hub 22 mounted on a pinion carrier of the planetry gear device 3. Thus, the planetry gear device 3 and the clutch 2 are united in one body to reduce the whole of a speed change gear to a compact size.
