PURPOSE:To prevent toner from leakage at the loading/unloading of a cartridge to/from a developing device by forming an opening along the longitudinal direction of a peripheral wall, holding a flexible sheet-like cover body at one side part along the longitudinal direction of the opening so as to be moved with inclination and covering the opening by the cover body so as to be opened/ closed. CONSTITUTION:The toner cartridge 1 consists of a cylindrical cartridge body 2 closed at both ends and the flexible sheet-like cover body formed along the longitudinal direction of the peripheral wall of the body 2 and having the square opening as main parts. In the toner cartridge 1, the opening 3 side of the body 2 is turned upwards, toner is stored in its inside, the opened cover body is moved with inclination and engaged with a projected strip 8 to cover the opening 3 with the cover body 7 and then adhered to a step part 4. When the cartridge 1 under said state is loaded to the copying machine body, the operation can be executed without leakage of toner stored in the cartridge 1. |
