PURPOSE:To prevent the seizure of a turbocharger by cooling a center housing by supplying the cooling water collected into a steam separator into the cooling- water passage on the center housing from an introducing passage, after an internal-combustion engine stops operation. CONSTITUTION:During the operation of an internal-combustion engine, cooling water is branched from the branched point of a cooling-water passage 2A of a cylinderhead 2, and is introduced into a steam separator 15 through a communication passage 16. After steam is separated in an opened-port part 17, the water is supplied into the cooling water passage 15 of the center housing of a turbocharger from an opened-port part 19 through a communication passage 11. When the internal-combustion engine stops operation, the cooling water in the cooling-water passage 15 transforms into steam and flows backward in the communication passage 11 and is introduced into the steam separator 15. After collected into the upper space 15B in a container 15A, the steam flows to the cooling-water passage 2A side through the communication passage 16. Therefore, the cooling water collected in the container 15A flows into a cooling-water passage 5 through the communication passage 11 and cools the center housing 4. |
